We are a stable law firm with many years of experience in providing legal services to domestic as well as foreign clients. The credo of our work is to provide our clients with legal services at a high professional level and at the same in a flexible, responsible, and reliable manner. Our law firm was founded in 2006 by one of its partners JUDr. Jana Markechová, who, before starting with her own practice, used to work as an attorney in a number of prominent international law offices.
In 2020, Margaréta Markechová and Magdaléna Markechová became partners of the office, and they continue as the second generation with a tradition of family business in the field of provision of legal services.
The experience gained by working in an international legal environment and their combination with profound knowledge of the domestic legal environment and market formed the basis for building of our office as an autonomous and independent local law firm. Since the very beginning of our firm’s existence, we have constantly been moving forward and we are able to adapt flexibly to any legislative changes as well as to the development of the market.
In all stages of cooperation with our clients we are aiming at achieving our main goal which is to provide a first-class service to our clients and thus to create a basis for successful realization of their own goals and visions.
All our lawyers possess a high-specialized knowledge of the Slovak legal order and are able to provide legal advice (in addition to their mother tongue) in fluent German and English.
Our law office cooperates closely with other external specialists (notaries, executors, tax consultants, translators, and interpreters) as well as with other Slovak law offices and lawyers specialized in specific branches of law. Therefore, we can provide our clients with complex services that take into account a broader context and all possible aspects of their requirements.
At the same time, we cooperate with several prominent foreign law offices and are a part of an international association DVEV, Deutsch-Nordische Juristenvereinigung and JURAFORUM. This cooperation enables us to work hand in hand with lawyers as well as other specialists from all different countries of the world and to serve our clients worldwide.
